Heytestbury Pavilions is the home of architectural garden structures and follies

Designed and handmade in Britain from fully sustainable resources. Heytesbury Pavilions create unique structures that enhance gardens landscapes, ponds and waterways, whilst providing a stylish refuge for ducks, poultry, wild birds and domestic pets.

Our story began in 2004 a dew pond near Farnham in Surrey in with our founders Ivor & Sal Ingall, who were in the very practical pursuit of keeping their beloved ducks safe from a certain Mr Fox. Our first beautifully crafted duck house not only successfully provided safe-haven for the ducks but also attracted much attention from friends and neighbours. The idea for Heytesbury Pavilions was hatched!

As we were a group of antique dealers, we had longstanding relationships with some of the best craftsmen in the country, so we were able to take on a variety of exciting and challenging projects  as our creations gained popularity and were featured in the likes of Country Life  and House & Garden magazines. 

In 2007, Heytesbury Pavilions were invited to present at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where we were thrilled not only to have been recognised with an award for our display, but to also make the fortuitous acquaintance of Alan Tichmarsh, who became one of our biggest supporters. 

Less fortunate associations brought us to national attention in 2008 when a certain MP’s duck house commission became the subject of the infamous parliamentary expenses scandal… later enshrined in cultural history in the theatrical satire written by Colin Swash and Dan Patterson, The Duck House , which toured the country in 2013/2014 and featured, of course, a custom-made Heytesbury Pavilion Duck House. 

Whilst our reputation for Duck Houses may precede us, our range of garden houses and follies include full scale Bridges, Dovecotes, Dog Houses, and Tit Boxes. All our products are made to order and we offer a full  Bespoke Service.
